March, 2011 - Time for some updates!!  JUSTDEFY has been on hiatus for a long time now.
And we're hoping 2011 will be a new, fresh start for the band.
But in order to accomplish this, we're gonna need a new lead guitarist!


What we are looking for, is someone who loves to play metal & have a good time.  But, we aren't looking for someone whose main source of income would be the band.  We all have our careers, and this is our "Weekend Warrior" hobby.

Professionalism is a must.  Alcoholics & drug addicts need not apply.
Professional gear is also preferred.  Many of our songs use a 7-string guitar, so hopefully you have one and like it.
Influences should somewhat resemble MetallicA, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Manticora, Vision Divine, Iron Maiden, Iced Earth, Symphony X, Edguy, Rage, Brainstorm, Megadeth, Fear Factory, Machine Head, Children of Bodom, Trivium, Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage, Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Death, Slayer, Opeth, DragonForce, Believer... Just to name a few.
Practices would be 1x a week, and gig frequencies about 1-2x a month, both occuring on weekends.

In the meantime, we are also working on completely revamping our current website, looking into newer ways of merching, and hopefully finish the work we started on our demo once we find a new lead guitarist.  So stay tuned for updates.

August, 2009 - It is with sadness we I must announce this...

After being with the band for ~10 years, JUSTDEFY's lead guitarist Kevin Harrison has unfortunately decided that he no longer has the time available to be a part of the band.  His personal and professional life have become too time consuming for him to continue persuing playing guitar with us.  We all love Kevin with the utmost respect, and wish him absolutely nothing but the best in life and his future.  But unfortunately, extended time off just wasn't the answer.  He will be sorely missed from the fold.  Thank you Kevin for 10 great years of fun times and awesome music!
